The Return of the Scott's Orioles
Each summer, Scott's orioles return to our little desert oasis. Whether they are the same birds, their offspring, or new generations, they return to a place where fresh water, fruit, and a quiet place to rest await them. Watching them return each year reminds me how even a simple bowl of water and a slice of orange can become an oasis in the Mojave.
